School Supplies List – 2009-2010 School Year

Following is a general list of supplies children need to bring to school every day. Teachers may ask for other items specific to their classroom. Please label all items with your child’s name, unless otherwise noted.


ALL STUDENTS NEED
:
Tennis shoes for P.E.
At least one box of Kleenex
At least one package of wide-point dry-erase markers

Kindergarten (Half-day class)


1. Backpack (label with child’s name)
2. Two folders or PeeChees, at least one with fastners (child’s name on cover)
3. One packs of yellow #2 pencils*
4. One pack of Crayola 8-count thin washable markers*
5. Four packs Crayola 16-count crayons (NOT Rose Art)*
6. One bottle white Elmer’s School Glue (NO glue sticks)*
7. One pack dry erase markers*
8. One box Ziploc Easy Zipper bags quart size*
9. One box Ziploc Easy Zipper bags gallon size*
10. Two boxes Tissues*

Kindergarten (All-Day classes)


1. Small school box
2. #2 pencils (small box)
3. “Fiskars” pointed scissors
4. Roll-on glue (found at Mail, Copies & More)
5. One box primary colored washable markers
6. 2 med. box of Crayloa crayons
7. Liquid hand soap to share
8. Clipboard
9. One box Ziploc Easy Zipper bags quart size
10. One box Ziploc Easy Zipper bags gallon size
11. Baby Wipes
12. Large backpack
13. One large box of Kleenex
14. Two pocket folders (pockets on inside bottom) –1 ea. yellow and blue
15. One large snack item (Costco is great!) such as graham crackers, animal cookies, pretzels, goldfish crackers, etc. – to share with class
16. One highlighter.

1st Grade


1. Four plain pocket folders (1 ea. red, blue, green, yellow)
2. Glue: one 8-oz. bottle, white only please*

4. Two boxes crayons (16 or 24-count) – label w/name
5. One pair good quality scissors – label w/name
6. 5”x8” pencil supply box
7. One large box of Kleenex*

6. Crayons and a 12-pack of colored pencils
7. Marking pens
8. Highlighters – yellow & blue
9. Lined paper
10. Protractor and Compass for Math
11. Small pencil sharpener
12. Pencil pouch or school box (to hold supplies)
13. One 2-inch 3-ring binder w/subject dividers or “PeeChee” type folders, and 3 spiral notebooks
14. Medium sized paperback pocket dictionary
15. At least one box of Kleenex
16. Optional items: small stapler, tape, extra folders
17. Calculator for math
18. One 1-1/2 inch 3-ring white binder (to hold all tests and special projects)
