Spring has Sprung: Dress Code Information

Spring has Sprung! With the changing of the weather, also brings a changing of the way we dress.  Please remember that the dress code printed in the student handbook is still in effect.

Appropriate school attire is important. No student shall dress in such a way as to distract from the learning process of other students. The faculty and administration of Decatur High School recognize that in order for the dress code to be effective, parents and students must attend to a student’s clothing before he or she leaves for school in the morning. We request and appreciate the cooperation of students and parents in this matter.

Students found to be in violation of the dress code will be required to make necessary adjustments by contacting parents to bring appropriate attire or by wearing school-provided clothing.
