Hey Gators,
Yesterday the Girls Track and Field team competed against Kentwood
The girls were led by Olivia Aikala 3rd in the Triple Jump, Lindsey Debie 3rd in the Shot put, Hannah Isaac 3rd in the 400 m Dash, Alaina Butler 2nd in the 110 m Hurdles and 1st in the 300 m Hurdles, Carly Carson 1st in the pole vault, Jade Woodke 2nd in the shot put and 1st in the 400 m Dash, Shlonda Baker 1st in the 100 m and 2nd in the 200 m dash, Bre Walch 1st in the Discus, and Jordyn Woodke 1st in the Long and Triple Jumps.  The 800 m Relay team of Alaina, Jade, Jordyn and Shlonda also came away with a great win.

Yesterday the Boys Track and Field team defeated Kentwood the defending league champs. 
The Boys were led by Thomas Brown 3rd in the 100 m dash, Brock Lintelman 3rd in the 1600 m run and 2nd in the 800 m Run, Keith Arns 1st in the Shot Put and in the Discus, Tre Kelly 3rd in the 400 m dash and 2nd in the Long Jump, CJ Pellum 2nd in the 100 m Dashes, Ian Ashby 1st in the Pole Vault, Tresaun McCurry 3rd in the Triple Jump and 1st in the High Jump, Justin Englund 1st in the 1600, Ezra John Griffey 1st in the 100 and 200, and Chase King 1st in the Long Jump and Triple Jump.  The 400 m relay team of Ezra John Griffey, Tre Kelly, CJ Pellum and Chase King came away with a strong victory.  Also if you get the opportunity check out Ezra John Griffey’s article in the Seattle PI that came out this morning.

Hey Gators,
Yesterday the Girls Track and Field team competed against Federal Way.
The girls were led by Madesin Austin 3rd in the Javelin, Lindsey Debie 2nd in the Javelin, Jorden Pipkin 3rd in the High Jump, Becca Haworth 3rd in the 3200 m Run, Grace Park 3rd in the 800 M Run, Hannah Isaac 2nd in the 400 m Dash, Alaina Butler 2nd in the 110 m Hurdles, Carly Carson 3rd in the Pole Vault and 2nd in the High Jump, Ellie Franco 3rd in the 1600 m run and 2nd in the 3200 m Run, Shlonda Baker 1st in the 100 m and 200 m dashes, Jordyn Woodke 1st in the Triple Jump, Bre Walch 3rd in the Shot put and 1st in the Discus, Jade Woodke 1st in the 400 m dash and the Shot put.  The relay of Shlonda, Jade, Alaina, and ????? came away with a strong victory.  The athletes of the meet went to Grace Park, Becca Haworth, and Melinda Fanning, Track events and Carly Carson, Field events.

The Boys were led by Kris Morton 3rd in the Javelin, Greg Iglesias 3rd in the 300 m Hurdles, Brendan Thomas 3rd in the 110 m Hurdles, Brock Lintelman 2nd in the 800 m Run, Keith Arns 2nd in the Shot Put and 3rd in the Discus, Andy Jowett 2nd in the Discus and in the Javelin, Tre Kelly 2nd in the 400 m Run, CJ Pellum 3rd in the 100, Tresaun McCurry 2nd in the High Jump, Justin Englund 2nd in the 1600 and 1st in the 800 m Run, Justin Helm 1st in the 1600 and 3200 m Runs, Ezra John Griffey 1st in the 100 and 200, and Chase King 3rd in the Triple Jump, 2nd in the Long Jump and 200 m Dash.  The 400 m relay team of Ezra John Griffey, Tre Kelly, CJ Pellum and Chase King came away with a strong victory.  The athletes of the meet went to CJ Pellum, Track events and Andy Jowett, Field Events.

Hey Gators,
Yesterday the Girls Track and Field team competed against Tahoma.
The girls were led by Olivia Aikala 1st in the Pole Vault, Alaina Butler 3rd in the 110 m Hurdles and 1st in the 300 m Hurdles, Carly Carson 3rd in the 400 m dash and 2nd in the High Jump, Shlonda Baker 1st in the 100 m and 2nd in the 200 m dash, Bre Walch 1st in the Shot put and Discus.
The girls lost 33-103 which is their 4 loss.
The 25 girls that we have on the team are doing a great job competing against huge teams like Tahoma (They had 22 girls in the 100 m dash alone.)

The Boys were led by Brock Lintelman 2nd in the 800 m Run, Keith Arns 1st in the Shot Put and 2nd in the Discus, Tre Kelly 3rd in the 110 m and 1st in the 300 m Hurdles, CJ Pellum 3rd in the 100 and 200 m Dashes, Ian Ashby 3rd in the Pole Vault, Tresaun McCurry 1st in the High Jump, Justin Englund 2nd in the 1600 and 3200 m run, Ezra John Griffey 1st in the 100 and 200, and Chase King 1st in the Long Jump, Triple Jump, and 400 m Dash.  The 400 m relay team of Ezra John Griffey, Tre Kelly, CJ Pellum and Chase King came away with a strong victory. 
The boys lost 66-69 which is their 4th loss also, 2nd by less than 3 pts.  The 33 boys that we have on the team are doing a great job competing against huge team also like Tahoma (They had 25 athletes in the 1600 m run alone.)

Also thank you to all of the great meet helpers that were able to come out and support our team.  It is hard to come out and see these huge teams and then worry about covering the officiating of events.  We have three more meets at the stadium (the next three Thursdays.)  We would like to invite you to come out and watch our departing Seniors, some of the greatest in school history and the young blood coming up in our program.
