Decatur's Diversity Club is an afterschool program designed for students to explore the concept of diversity. In addition, students are provided opportunities to conceive of and implement projects around their school to address diversity issues.

Some examples of project undertaken are the short film, "Playing with Dynamite", an exploration of bullying and harassment in schools, and a 'Welcome' mural painted at the main entrance to the school.
