Who?

Another President from the south, born in Denison, Texas 1890, he was very active as a teen. Excelling in sports in highschool and consentrated on school. He was appointed to the Army and stationed in Texas as a second lieutenant. This is were he met his future wife Mamie Geneva Doud. They where married in 1916. He served under Generals John J. Pershing, Douglas MacArthur, and Walter Krueger. After Pearl Harbor, General George C. Marshall called him to Washington for a war plans assignment. He commanded the Allied Forces landing in North Africa in November 1942; on D-Day, 1944, he was Supreme Command. After jumping around to different high authority posts, republican emissaries to his headquarters near Paris persuaded him to run for President in 1952. During his run for president, Eisenhower aquired the nickname "Ike". The election was held and the votes for Eisenhower exploded. He won by a landslide. He took his mount in the White House by the horns, as a christian and a powerful republican.

There was more to the stern, bold man that yelled at slackers and gave commands of 50 push-ups to the men who couldn't get a clue, but underneath it all there was a talent an artist who painted the serenity of nature (the cabin on the left), and stories of his accomplishments (the Whitehouse above)
