An Overview of Your Child's Musical Opportunities
- Vocal and Ear Training Skills
- Orff instrumental training
- Rhythm skills focus
- Composition Fundamentals
- Honor Choir and the New Select Choir
As you probably have already guessed, Mr. Worcester’s General Music instruction places the strongest emphasis on the most important of all musical instruments, the human voice! We take it with us everywhere and we all have the capability to develop it! Students at Enterprise use xylophones, metallophones, bells, recorders, drums, and a wide variety of other non-pitched percussion to supplement their vocal and aural skills.
Music at Enterprise also includes the chance for 90-100 third-, fourth- and fifth-grade students to participate in Honor Choir . We’re also putting together a Select Choir of 25 students for a special January Performance. The Honor Choir is looking forward to carolling around the Enterprise neighborhood after missing the chance to do so due to last year’s storm.
Upcoming Events:
- Auditions for Honor and Select Choirs - now until September 26th during recesses
- First Full Honor Choir Rehearsal for 2007-2008 - 90 students expected in the Enterprise Gym!
- September 26th during the last 40 minutes of school - 2:40-3:20pm
