Welcome!
|
|
Hello! I'm Erin Herringshaw and on behalf of my co-president Kelly Oldham
and I, I'd like to thank you for checking out the Enterprise website! This
will be such a great tool for keeping you informed and involved for the
upcoming school year.
I invite you to check out our calendar and see some of the fun events we
have planned. In terms of fundraising, we've got our Fall Fundraiser as
well as our live auction planned. We've also included our Enterprise
traditions such as Make a Difference day, Kids Shoppe, Valentine sucker
sales as well as our book fairs. And lastly, we haven't forgotten evenings
that are just for fun like our skate nights, Trunk or Treat, a wonderful
night of 'comfort food' with a talent show and a family sock-hop!
There's room for everyone to lend a hand or attend everything we've got
planned. Please come into the gym on Sept. 6 between 5:00-7:00pm and sign
up for PTA and see what you'd like to be a part of!
Kelly and I are looking forward to getting to know more of you and we're
excited for a great year! ...Erin Herringshaw

Enterprise Elementary has a strong and involved PTA. The PTA is actively involved in organizing and
facilitating many exciting and worthwhile activities throughout the year. Their focus is on students: providing
meaningful support for the school and sponsoring activities that are fun for families.Parents are encouraged
to join the PTA, but are also welcome to participate in school events and to volunteer at school without being
PTA members.

What is PTA?
|
Joining the PTA does NOT mean that you will be spending HOURS upon HOURS of your time at the school
(unless you want to). Simply joining the PTA goes a long way in supporting our kids. The money
Enterprise PTA gets from its members joining fees go towards:
- 25 Mile Club
- Music Program extras
- Popcorn Parade
- Student Store
- Holiday Shoppe
- Valentine's Sucker Exchange
- Carnival
- Auction
- AR
- Field Trips
- The list of great things that Enterprise PTA supplies our children is very long.
The simple act of joining PTA shows your commitment to your child's education. If that is all you can or want
to do then we THANK YOU. You won't be called to volunteer, you won't be pestered for additional donations and you
won't be called upon to run the movie projector at Family Fun Night - Unless you sign up for it. Joining also means you can choose how you want to
participate in PTA. A list of committees can be found below. If you are interested in co-chairing or helping out with
a committee, please contact any of the officers above or send a note with your child to school. As always we thank you for
your continued support in our children's education. It is truly a great thing to be a PTA member.
