Unitee practice will conclude at 3:00 pm today, please show up on time to practice.


Attention all students interested in playing a spring sport. Eligibility clearing will start February 22nd. You will not be able to get your pink slip until you have paid ALL of your fines and fees or you have a signed payment plan on file with the bookkeeping office. Also, check with Mrs. Conklin to see if your physical is still good.


Eagles, February is Black History month and because we are so proud of our rich cultural diversity, we are dedicating the month of February not only to honor Black History, but also to honor all of the cultures we represent. To do that, we are sponsoring a writing contest. The Prompt: What aspect of your culture are you most proud? Winners will receive cash, gift certificates or an Ipod Nano. Please see your English teacher for an entry form. Entries are due February 26th.


All “C” team girls basketball players must turn in their WASHED uniforms to Burke in the main office by Wednesday. Fines will be issued for all uniform items not turned in.


FCCLA is hosting a coat drive now until Friday, February 12th. Please bring in any gently used coats of all sizes. No one wants to be cold during the winter, so bring in coats and help your community. Drop them off in the big red box in the cafeteria.


Congratulations to your Eagle gymnasts for a greet meet at Sub Districts Saturday at Kentwood. A special congratulations to the three gymnasts going on to districts next Saturday at Auburn Mountainview. They are Valarie P., Taryn P. and Lydia B. Great job, ladies.


Congratulations to Levy M. for placing 4th at the SPSL Sub Regional championships this past weekend. Congratulations to your Lady Eagle wrestlers for placing 3rd overall the sub regional championships this past weekend. Congratulations to Axa M. for placing 3rd and a special congrats to our four sub regional champs: Kaylee H., Bianca A., Maria M. and Jocie W.


Do you want to send a surprise valentine to your sweetie or friend? French club will deliver for you. Come to our table during both lunches on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, write your message and we will attach the chocolate! Only 50¢ each.


Native American Club will meet on Wednesdays at 2:15 in room 505. All are welcome…you don’t need to be Native to come, so Eagles, spread your wings and fly to Native American Club Wednesday at 2:15 in room 505.


Asian American club will be having a fundraiser movie night on Friday, February 19th at 2:30 – 4:30 in room 406. The movie is a comedy, Shaloin Soccer, and it will be free. Food will be sold.

Come to room 406 to pick up a permission slip, this will be your ticket to get in…no permission slip, no entrance.


Are you thinking about attending Puget Sound Skills Center next year? Would you like to get a chance to look at their programs before you decide? Then come along on a field trip on February 19th to experience PSSC. Stop by the Career Center to get your field trip permission form. There are limited spaces, first come, first serve!


Roses are red, violets are blue, buy a crush can and recycle it too! Environmental Club will be selling crush sodas. Red for love, orange for a crush and purple for friends at both lunches for $1.00


Asian American club members—the club will be celebrating Chinese New Year on the 10th in room 406. Come and have fun! There will be a party with games and food! If you can, bring food!
