IGCSE
The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is
the world's most popular international qualification for 14-16 year olds.
Each year there are 350,000 entries for Cambridge IGCSE from around the
globe. IGCSE courses develop successful students, giving them excellent
preparation for their next steps in education, including progression to
A and AS Level study, and equips them with skills for immediate employment.
Cambridge IGCSE is recognised by universities and employers worldwide.
IGCSE, also refered to as Pre-Advanced International Certificate of Education
(Pre-AICE), is offered to academically talented students at grade 9 and
10. IGCSE uses the curriculum and testing program offered through Cambridge
International Examinations which is part of the University of Cambridge
in England. It is a rigorous international, pre-university curriculum
that emphasizes the value of a broad and balanced course study.
AICE
Every year, thousands of students with Cambridge International A Level
win places at good universities worldwide. As one of the most recognised
qualifications around the world, it is accepted as proof of academic ability
for entry to universities worldwide. Cambridge International A Levels
typically take two years to complete and offer a flexible course of study
that gives students the freedom to select subjects that are right for
them. Advanced Subsidiary Level courses are generally taken in grade 11.
Students may continue with Advanced Level courses in grade 12. Both Advanced
Subsidiary (AS-Level) and Advanced (A-Level) are considered college level
courses.
