Reflections – Theme for the 2009-10 school year is: “Beauty is…..”.

Reflections is an art competition that students can participate in. It is a National Arts Recognition and Achievement Program that provides opportunities for students to express themselves.
Students from FW are all welcome to participate. Students who are chosen from FW High School to have their work go to the next level of competition will then be judged against other students from the other Federal Way High Schools. This is a free program and a great way to express your artistic abilities. Entries are judged on creative ability and interpretation of the theme. Entries are first judged at FW High School with the winners going on to compete at the District level. Winners from there are sent to the State level.

Prizes for winning entries at the FW High School level will be awarded.

All entries must be accompanied by a (Student Entry Form).
All participants must follow the (General Rules) with each entry submitted.
Categories and rules for the competition are: (Visual Arts), (Photography), (Musical Composition), (Literature), (Film/Video) and (Dance/Choreography),

All entries are due in the school office no later than November 16, 2009.

PTSA Senior Grad Parents:
Due to the low participation in the PTSA Senior Grad Night the past few years and the high cost of hosting the event, we have decided to do something else for our Seniors. Ideas include: hosting the Senior breakfast, a last day of school BBQ, etc. Ideas are needed and a committee will be put together to discuss and decide what will work best.
Staff , Parents and Seniors input are needed.
If interested please email: Sandy Bjork sbtt4@msn.com
