Battle of the Books

Congratulations to every student who worked hard for this year’s Battle of the Books. The room was full of energy and excitement at Decatur as our B.O.B. team battled to the very end. Ben Adams, Elijah Bakam, Amy Holden, and Deshante Hattori-Lindsey (Beastmode) tied for first place. In the tie breaker, Lake Doloff beat them by one point. Great job Beastmode!

Green Gables Elementary Reassessment Policy

As part of our Standards-Based educational program at Green Gables Elementary, learning and assessment are both viewed as an ongoing process within each of our classrooms. Students will be allowed to demonstrate achievement of Learning Targets and/or Power Standards through multiple performance opportunities that may include a variety of assessment practices. These assessment practices may include teacher observations, in-class activities, verbal or written performance, tests, quizzes, projects, and other forms of communication as determined by the classroom teacher.
