Green Gables Elementary

Green Gables Elementary is a multi-age school. Our primary classrooms consist of Kindergarten through 2nd grade and our intermediate classrooms consist of 3rd through 5th grade. Our students stay with the same teacher for three years. We give and expect respect, love, happiness, and high standards from all who work and learn here. We are focused on best practices and our teachers are experts at creating meaningful work that help students stay engaged and excited to learn. We use Everyday Math as our math curriculum and use a Reader's and Writer's workshop model to teach children the Washington State Grade Level Expectations with topics that are meaningful to their lives. We have a science and art room that allows teachers to use state of the art materials to give their students hands-on experiences. Over 100 educators have toured our school to see brain based research implemented within our walls.
