Testing Season is here!

Testing season is here!
Your child will be taking the state test, Smarter Balanced, in the next few weeks.  Each grade level will have 5 days of testing on computers.    Here are some helpful tips to help your student during this testing period:

  • Timely attendance. The tests will begin each morning so please have your student arrive to school on time.  Please try and avoid absences during their specific testing dates.
  • Get a good night’s sleep the night before the test.
  • Eat a good breakfast.
  • Bring a small snack and a bottle of water.
  • Bring a book for silent reading should he/she finish test early.
  • Students MAY bring their own earbuds for the listening portion of testing but cell phones will be turned off and put away.

The Kilo testing schedule is as follows:
April 21, 23, 24, 29 and May 5th/7th
April 22, 27, 28 and May 12, 13
April 20, 30 and May 11, 14, 15     MSP Science (8th grade only)  June 2/3
