| I was born and raised in Aberdeen, Washington where I went to Stevens Elementary, Miller Jr. High, and of course Aberdeen (Weatherwax) High School...the home of the BOBCATS. I enjoyed many good times in my younger days playing many different sports to pass the time. They included...football, basketball, baseball, track, swimming, tennis, wresting, and lifting weights. Aberdeen also gave me a good education and helped me get into Washington State University where I received my undergraduate degree in education with an endorsement in Science. After I left WAZZU I accepted a job in Federal Way at Woodmont Elementary as a PE teacher. When I was at Woodmont I decided to go back to school and received my Master's degree from Gonzaga University in Technology in education. After six years teaching in elementary school I decided to make the move up to Kilo when Federal Way was transitioning to the Middle School concept. This will be my 7th year teaching at Kilo where I enjoy teaching, coaching football, wrestling, boy's basketball, and track. I am also the tech guy and ASB financial advisor along with Mr. Morse. Personally, I have been married to my wife, Lisa for 11 years and we have three children. They are Leah (6), Andrew (4) and Ethan (1). |
