FIRST COMES DEMOLITION!

Lakota is beginning to take on a very new look. Last week the construction crews
prepared the portables for demolition, and this week they came down. On Friday,
a large machine began the destruction of the classroom wing with the orchestra,
learning lab and Mrs. Kwon's former classroom. (See photo below) It is now gutted,
and the cement walls will come down today. It is very strange to look out back
and not see those buildings. We will really miss our old Lakota, but it will
be exciting to watch our brand new building be constructed.
