H.E.R.O. Program

Honor Education & Respect Others

Purpose:

In today’s society, youth and young adults are being molded into instant gratifiers by increased exposure to corporate, athletic and entertainment marketing. A consequence is that many youth and young adults lack important skills needed to be productive and self-sufficient.  They lack patience and don’t understand the importance of setting goals and developing plans.  They struggle to communicate with parents, family, authority figures, teachers, and peers.

HERO focuses on teaching youth and young adults’ life skills that would help them become more confident in their abilities and help them navigate in today’s pressure-packed environment.  HERO encourages youth and young adults to have higher expectations for self, respect for others, and to value education. HERO aims to provide services that prepare youth and young adults to be future leaders in their communities.  HERO strives to plant the seed of self-sustainability in our youth and young adults.

Mission:

To instill the value in knowledge, the power in learning, the importance of accountability and the principle of respecting others to all youth and young adults through the HERO seminars, golf camps, conferences, workshops, and community events.

Vision:

To have all youth and young adults feel empowered and encouraged to seek truth about self, become leaders in their communities, and be confident and responsible for the decisions and choices they make in life…. to become a HERO

5 Values:

Education

Personal Growth

Community

Family

Health & Wellness
