Dear Meredith Hill Families,

Thank you for the very successful and well-attended Meredith Hill Open House on September 27th. The Meredith Hill staff recognizes and appreciates the support and enthusiasm you show not only at Open House, but also in the many ways you support the classrooms day in and day out.

Also, we want to thank you for your donations to the Red Cross. The funds donated at Open House and in the 6th grade sponsored "Coins From Kids" collection were combined to make a total donation of $1,726.00 Freddies of Auburn matched our donation which brings our total to $3452.00. The giving spirit of Meredith Hill families and our business community will make a big difference to those who experienced the tragedy last month.

In the next week, parent/teacher conference information will be coming to you to designate a time when you and your child's teacher can meet to discuss your child's progress in school. The following three dates are days when school will not be in session so that conferences can be held: October 30th, October 31st, and November 1st. Additional kindergarten conference days will be November 8th and 9th. Look for information coming your way soon!

Preschool Openings

Meredith Hill Preschool needs your 3-4 year olds! We have openings in our p.m. preschool class. Our hours are 12:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. We offer a play-based pre-school yet we offer lots of learning opportunities. Call Meredith Hill Elementary School today at 253-945-3200.

Safety Patrol

Thank you to the student Safety Patrol who assist in keeping all of us safe as we come to school and go home. Thank you also to the many parents who give their time assisting and monitoring students before and after school.
