A Letter to Parents from the Family Partnership
Advocate

Hello,
My name is Trise Moore and I serve as the Family Partnership Advocate for Federal Way Public Schools. In an effort to make sure this work promotes student achievement for all students, we're working extra hard to get information about my role out to every parent, in every school.

I truly appreciate the opportunity that your school staff has given me to remind parents of my availability as a support resource.
The objectives of my partnership and advocacy role include raising student achievement through parent involvement and offering informal mediation when parents are seeking additional navigation and communication assistance. I also work to develop supportive partnerships within the district that strengthen family and community relationships.

I am trying to maintain accountability in my advocacy for all families and want to support truly meaningful parent partnerships, consequently; I am seeking volunteer parent liaisons from each school to help me meet these objectives.
