Genna, cherries and blueberries are my favorite fruit, and fresh green beans and broccoli are my favorite vegetables. When I was little I didn't like broccoli, and told my mom that she shouldn't cook “those little green bushes”! Now, however, I just love broccoli, cooked or raw!
““What was your first job?” asks Raiden.
I got my very first job when I was 10 years old. I worked in a nursery in Charleston, South Carolina. It was my job to go around and gather all the dead blossoms that had been clipped from the camellia bushes. I went to work every Saturday morning during the spring, and got 50 cents for each bushel that I collected. My first adult job was at Sears. I worked there when I started college. It wasn't nearly as much fun as the “blossom-picking” job!
Bailey asks, “What is your favorite color?”
Bailey, my favorite color is purple! When I was little I had a bright purple bike with pink flowers on it, purple walls in my bedroom, many purple raincoats and boots, and lots of purple backpacks! I LOVE purple!
Rachelle asks, “Do you like ice cream?”
Rachelle, I love ice cream. My favorite flavors have lots of caramel or chocolate in them. I especially like ice cream in a waffle cone. I think I need to go out right now and get some! Oh, yeah!
Dylan wrote, “What is your middle name?”
My middle name is Lee, Dylan. I was born to very “southern” parents and just about every boy or girl in my family had the name Lee somewhere in their name. There was also a very famous southern General Known as General Lee. Look him up and see what part he played in our country's history.
