2007 - 2008 Mirror Lake PTA - Who Are We?

President: My name is Amy Shrauner and I have two daughters, Savannah (7)
and Charlotte who is 3. I have always been active in my children's lives and in other
children's lives by working in the childcare field, for this reason I have become a
member of the PTA. By being a member I can support and speak on behalf of the
children and have more involvement in my child's school. My favorite things to do
are spend time with my family and friends and watch movies.

Vice-President: Hello! My name is Elisabeth Cole and I am your Mirror Lake PTA
Vice-President. My 6 year-old son Eli is in 1st grade and we're really looking
forward to a great school year!
I have been happily married for 8 years and my husband, son and I have lived in
Federal Way the entire time. Being a realtor is fantastic because it allows me the
flexibility to be able to help out at the school and with the PTA. In my spare time I
love to read, garden, travel and do genealogy.
One of the goals of the PTA this year is to increase membership and parent
involvement, so if you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to
contact me!

Secretary: Hi, my name is Sandra Cameron and I am the Mirror Lake PTA
secretary for this school year. Last year I served as Treasurer and look forward
to another school year on the PTA board. I have one daughter who attends Mirror
Lake, her name is Karis Cameron and she is in 4th grade. I work at a law firm in
Seattle but find tiime to squeeze in my daughter's sporting events and Girl Scout
activities and I have recently been bitten by the scrapbooking bug. After joining the
board last year I really was able to see what goes on behind the scenes and what it
takes to provide our children with all the great learning experiences and fun
activities offered here at Mirror Lake. Have a great 2006-2007 school year!

Co-Treasurers: Hi! We're David and Julie Rice, Co-Treasurers for PTA this
school year. We've been married for 15 years and have two sons at Mirror Lake;
James is in 5th grade and Steven is a 3rd grader this year. They're growing so
fast! This is our fourth year being PTA board members because we enjoy the
opportunities it gives our boys to be part of social activities with their friends as an
extension of their school live. If you want to strike up a conversation with James or
Steven, their most animated discussions center around computer racing games,
money and the stock market, believe it or not! We hope to meet you at PTA events
this year!
