Welcome to Nautilus K-8! Home of the Navigators! I am thrilled and excited to join the Nautilus students and families on a voyage of fun and learning! Throughout my 16 years in education, I have worked at all levels: elementary, middle school, high school, and even college. Kindergarten through Eighth grade offers excitement, enthusiasm, energy and enlightenment.
“Reaching Higher to Promote Student Learning” is the mission at Nautilus! Staff members work closely with parents and students to create a triangle for success. An active PTSA helps support the school in numerous ways – Read to Lead; Carnival; Jog-a-thon; Skating Parties; Elementary Track; Science Fair; and Watch DOGS! We welcome parent or community volunteers, knowing they are here to help make things easier for staff and to help all our students reach standard. Please visit our main office for more information on how to volunteer.
Each month, Nautilus focuses on a different trait – Respectful, Cooperative, Accepting, Helpful, Caring, Positive, Trustworthy and Honest, Considerate, and Responsible. Navigators exemplify these traits at school and in the community. We are a Green School, are developing a community garden, and beginning to compost during lunch. We know that Nautilus students are being positively prepared for the future.
Please stop on by to see our fabulous students in action!
Proud to be a Navigator!
