Ms. Laboo will be having a walking cub on Fridays beginning on Oct 17th. Students will set goals and work on their fitness and earn rewards along the way. You can join your child in working towards fitness goals by signing up at www.strides.nyrr.org . Click the flyer to fill out and send in to Ms. Laboo as soon as possible to join. All parents are welcome to our first cougar talk of the school year on October 27th at 11:00 in the library. You can learn many ways to help your 3rd grade student at home including homework expectations, working on reading comprehension, and family math games that help to build computation skills. In support of the home team, Olympic View staff and Students can wear Seahawks gear to show their team spirit every Friday during football season. Students still need to be wearing uniform bottoms (pants, skirts, leggings). Go Hawks!
The Trampoline Nation night has changed to Tuesday October 14th from 5-9PM. The cost for OLV students is $7 for the first hour and $5 for each additional hour. This price is a 30% discount from regular admission prices. Olympic View PTA will receive $1 for each hour. Family and friends are encouraged to attend also. All students must have a waiver signed by their parent to participate. Waivers can be downloaded from the website or filled out on-site.

Once again the PTA will be selling uniform school sweatshirts and polo shirts. If you would like to purchase one, the forms are outside of the office by the front door. The clothes start at $11 and go to $22 depending on style.
Emergency bags are also for sale and include a canned food item, drink, snack food and a napkin. Bags will be delivered to your students classroom. They will be used in case of major emergency such as an earthquake and will be sent home at the end of the school year if not used. Emergency kits are $5 each and you can pick up a form in the office.
