Welcome to my Beluga website! I want to teach you about the beluga's habitat, diet, and population.
Beluga whales, also known as white whales, are small-toothed whales that are generally small in size and generally 13-20 ft, similar to the size of a bus. Beluga whales are born gray, but become white as they become older. Their white color helps them blend into the cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Male belugas weigh 1,100kg - 1,600 kg, and females weigh from 700kg - 1,200kg.
I had called the Seattle Aquarium, and they informed me that they are no cetacea, whales and dolphins, in Washington State. I traveled to the Vancouver Aquarium, in British Columbia, Canada, to take pictures of beluga whales for this website. They had four belugas, and I got some good pictures.
I hope you enjoy my website!
