| Sukiyaki is one of my favorite main dishes. I like that you can add so many other ingredients and take out the ones you don't like and still come up with almost the same dish. |
Ingredients:
2 tb sp. oil
1 lb. thinly sliced beef (Sukiyaki Beef)
2 large onions sliced
1 bunch of green onions
1 cup sliced mushrooms
6 leaves of Napa, sliced into 2 inch pieces
8 ounces of yam or rice noodles
1 cube of tofu cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes

Sauce:
1 cup soup stock (dashi)
2 tb sp. sugar
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup mirin
*optional: 4 eggs, 1 per person
