Accelerated Reader Program- AR

The Accelerated Reader Program (AR) allows students to read books, then take comprehension tests on the book that they just read.  AR comprehension tests are completed on the computer and can only be taken at school.  However, students can read AR books at home and take the AR tests when they return to school.

For each AR test completed and passed, students earn AR points.  Each grade level has a specific amount of points their goal is to earn for the school year.  If students reach their AR points goal, they get to attend an AR party at the end of the year.  To find out if a book is an AR book click the following link.
