If you are interested in volunteering at school in your child’s classroom or chaperoning a field trip you must fill out a Washington State Patrol background check form. Background forms take at least 2 weeks to be processed and returned back to school. The forms can be picked up at school or at the Education Service Center (ESC) building. Background checks are good for 2 years, then volunteers will need to complete a new form.
