Art Club: Ms. Kahoonei, Adviser

The Art Club is open to students who are interested in exploring art and crafts.  School Wide Beautification projects are a big goal of the club. The club meets every Monday after school 2:45-3:45 in the Art room, 403.

Earth Service Corps: Mr. Haines Adviser and Mrs. Stultz,

Founded in 1989, the YMCA Earth Service Corps (YESC) is an innovative youth-led program that empowers students to take a hands-on role in creating a healthier environment in their schools, communities and region while nurturing a respect for diversity within the natural world.

YMCA Earth Service Corps empowers young people to be effective, responsible, global citizens by providing opportunities for environmental education and action, leadership development and cross-cultural awareness.

Join us and challenge your leadership skills, develop compassion for others, foster a respect for the environment, and TAKE ACTION within your community to create a healthy planet!

Earth Service Corps will meet every Wednesday in Mrs. Stulz’s room, 806, from 2:45- 3:45.

Games Club: Mrs. Ely, Adviser

The Games Club meets after school on Thursdays from 2:50-3:40 pm in Mrs. Ely’s room 805. All students who are interested in playing Scrabble or chess, or another game of your choice, are welcome. No experience necessary!

Latino Culture Club: Mr. Herrera, Ms. Joslin, & Mrs. Willingham, Advisers

Latino Culture Club meets after school on Tuesdays from 2:50-3:40 in Mr. Herrera’s room, 703. All students who are interested in learning and sharing more about Latino culture and heritage are welcome (students do not have to be Latino to join).

Math Club: Mr. Felix, Adviser

Math Club meets after school on Tuesdays in room 907. These students gather to challenge themselves with complex math problems. Student “mathletes” compete in the annual Washington State Math Championships in Blaine, WA each spring.

Pacific Island Club: Mrs. Basinger, Adviser

Pacific Island Club is open to all students interested in learning and sharing Pacific Island cultures. The P.I. club meets every Thursday after school from 2:45 to 3:45 in room 403.

Rocket Club: Mrs. Ely, Adviser

Any students interested in building (and launching) rockets are invited to join Rocket Club in the spring. Listen to the morning announcements for more details from Mrs. Ely!

Science Club:

Science club meets after school on Mondays. Interested? Listen for more information during announcements.

Soccer Club: Ms. Hamilton, Adviser

Soccer club will meet after school twice a week, beginning in the fall. Email Ms. Hamilton to let her know you are interested, and listen for announcements!

VIP Access – Homework Club: Ms. Kahoonei, Adviser

VIP Access meets after school in the library, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Students can work on homework or use computers to access TeenBiz or Khan Academy. Ms. Kahoonei and our Americorps volunteers are there to help!
