Leadership is one of the key factors in maintaining the tradition of excellence at Sacajawea. The Leadership Class consists of ASB, class, and activity representatives. These student leaders have the responsibility of planning the ASB budget (which supports a wide variety of clubs and activities as well as transportation for sports teams), assisting with our annual Magazine Drive and organizing major school functions like dances and assemblies. Sacajawea's leadership program is known for its organization and effectiveness. Leadership meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:15 AM.

Elections for Associated Student Body officers occur in the spring for President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary and Seventh and Eighth Grade representative. Each fall, Sacajawea's new sixth graders have their chance to elect Sixth Grade representatives. Be sure to listen carefully to morning announcements for information about the election process.
