On Thursday, May 3rd, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, 6th and 7th grade STEM Academy students presented their research and solutions to improve the health of the Puget Sound. Student models, flyers, and presentations were on display in a gallery walk style, and students shared their ideas and answered questions from visitors.
Students designed and created models which demonstrated solutions to known environmental problems in Puget Sound. This event was the final showcase demonstrating the Academy’s involvement with the Green Grant which was awarded to Saghalie through the Pacific Education Institute.
