The new school year is off to a great start! So far, we have 150 kids enrolled in Band and 60 kids enrolled in Orchestra. Our new Orchestra teacher, Tom Walworth, has the 6th grade orchestra using their bows and sounding fantastic already!

FUNDRAISER RESULTS
The Band and Orchestra just finished their first fundraiser of the year, selling about 125 Entertainment Coupon books! While they did a fantastic job, we are expecting to have more fundraisers in the future to support our Fieldtrips to Seattle and Leavenworth, WA.
TUTORING
In the past, Ms. Kreider has offered afterschool tutoring one day a week for students who are in need of extra help. This year, though there is not a formal day scheduled, students are more than welcome to schedule time with either Mr. Walworth OR Ms. Kreider after school for some one-on-one help. Please contact Ms. Kreider or Mr. Waltworth to set up a session for your student.
JAZZ BAND!
Jazz Band rehearsals have officially begun! Our group of bright eyed kids are off to a terrific start. Jazz Band meets 4 mornings a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. We are in need of a bass, guitar, and saxophone player! Contact Ms. Kreider for more information.
