Silver
Lake Elementary Vision Statement
Silver Lake Elementary believes it is our mission to develop the intellectual,
physical, creative, cultural and social capabilities of all students.
Our primary commitment is preparing children to build positive relationships
and to become life-long learners. We encourage family and community
involvement in this educational process.
Philosophy
of Student Citizenship
The students, staff, and parents of the Silver Lake Community will work
together to establish a positive learning environment by implementing
a citizenship program which develops personal responsibility, respect,
and cooperation. We believe that students who consistently display positive
citizenship will enhance both their own learning and the learning of
others.
Roles
and Responsibilities
Our school community will model and support the importance of pride
in oneself through behaviors that demonstrate respect, responsibility,
and cooperation. These positive choices will be reinforced and rewarded
through the Positive Citizenship Program at Silver Lake.
