Important MSP Info

In May, schools across the state will be administering the Measurement of Student Progress (MSP).  The test is designed to measure student achievement of Washington’s rigorous academic standards which define what students should learn as they progress through school.

The MSP time will be here soon.  If your child is in 3rd, 4th or 5th grade please help us ensure he or she has a successful MSP experience by making sure your child is in school May 2nd – May 18th.

It is important we gather information about what our students are learning here at Star Lake so we can use that information for planning.  You can help by scheduling all appointments outside our testing window so your child can attend school.  Also, please ensure your child gets a good night’s sleep, eats a hearty breakfast, and arrives on time to school each day.  Thank you for your help.  It is our partnership that will help your child find the most success on his or her academic journey.
