The recent DAPE testing (formerly WASL-DAW/modified) is now finished.
The scores should be processed by OSPI and returned to the school district in January 2010.

If you are wondering about the PSAT results, we should be receiving scores in mid to late December. Last year they arrivedj ust before winter break but were unable to inform students of their scores due to the abundance of snow.

High School Proficiency Exam
Todd Beamer is offering High School Proficiency Exam (HSPE) preparation classes after school. The HPSE is the new replacement for the WASL. Students need to pass the Reading and Writing HSPE in order to graduate. Don't worry, if you passed the Reading and Writing WASL you are grandfathered in! Please see Ms. House in the Resource Office to sign up. The classes that are being offered are:Reading and Writing HPSE prep (11th and 12th Graders) - This class is for Juniors and Seniors who have not yet passed the Reading or Writing WASL. HSPE strategies and preparations are covered in this class. Also the Collection Of Evidence (COE) process is reviewed. The COE can be used as an alternative to the HSPE. This class is held on Mondays, from 2:15-3:40 in Room 214.

Reading and Writing HPSE prep (10th Graders) - This class if open to all Sophomores. HSPE strategies and preparations are covered in this class. This class is held on Thursdays, from 2:15-3:40 in Portable 3B.

Math HSPE prep - This class is open to all Sophomores. Juniors and Seniors can also participate in the class upon request. HSPE strategies and preparations are covered in this class. This class is held on Tuesdays, from 2:15-3:40 in Room 119.
