What's up: I'm been in Oregon since 1984 and am currently
living in Sherwood, a great little town south of Portland...close to
the beach, close to Mt. Hood and close to downtown Portland. I
work at George Fox University as the director of development services
and have been working at Fox since 1997. Along the way I've obtained a
BA from Northwest University and an MBA from George Fox. I have
two great "boys" who are 24 and 20. One is a graduate
of Fox, out in the big world now, and the younger is currently
a junior at Fox. Both are communication majors, one with
a video and one with an audio emphasis. I love volunteering in the community
and going to other areas where an extra hand is needed. It's also
fun crewing for a local hot air balloon business called Vista
Balloon Adventures. Hope to see you in August!

What's Up: Went to WSU after graduating spent 5 years
there and received two degrees, one in Construction Management and one
in Business Admin. Then lived and worked in Yakima, Texas, California,
and Kansas before moving back here to Washington. I have been thru huricanes,
tornados, Floods, Earthquakes etc. I have skied down Mt Rainier, and
rode a bike from Vancouver BC to Vancouver Wa. Have been married and
divorced twice along the way, and have a 15yo son who is a great kid,
and assume skier. First wife was an AirForce pilot and we ended up in
Kansas, so I started working for Boeing out there about 20 years ago,
currently at the Auburn plant. I have helped out abit with the Boeing
ski school (SKIBACS) teaching, so has my son. After the 20 year re-union
I was with a woman for many years who loved to go ski, bike, and scuba
we went to lots of great places chasing the best powder. She was killed
a while back by a drug/drunk driver. Now I am living in Covington in
a house I built a couple years ago. I am currently dating a nice gal
who also likes to get outdoors and keep active . My son has started
highschool, I just hope he doesn't do a tenth of the crap I recall doing.....
I mean other people did....

What's up?: Lifelong
skier who (motivated by then pre-teen daughters insisting "only
old people ski.") survived snowboarding lessons at age 40. Married
21 years to "Billy", UCLA grad, (PHD Micro) Director at Allergan
in Irvine. Personal degrees include: BA from WSU, MPA from JMU,
and two MOM's (daughters Ari & Alexa are sophomores at UCSD and
Esco High). "Home sweet homes" since high school have
included: Berlin and Garmisch Germany, (much easier to learn a language
while drinking beer!), Jackson Hole WY, Pullman WA, New Orleans LA,
Harrisonburg VA. Lansdale PA, Coventry RI, and Clayton CA. Happily
nestled (eight years now) in my favorite place of all, North County
San Diego. Career wise I am still determining what I want to be
when I grow-up. Enjoy volunteer work on Board of Directors for
Palomar YMCA, Habitat for Humanity, ONE campaign and Daughter of the
King for Trinity Church Escondido. Most appreciative perhaps of lessons
learned as a ten yr student of Course in Miracles. Treasure continued
friendship with Terese (Rehfeldt) Thomas who lives north of San Fran.
Desperately seeking Patti (Anderson) Widener with whom I lost contact
five years ago. (Please call me if you have any clue to her whereabouts:
760.432.9608.) Enjoy catching up with TJ alums via emails and
reunions (Thanks for the VIP day at Del Mar Mayne!) Look forward to
our thirtieth!

What's Up: Hello everyone! It's hard to
believe that it's been nearly 30 years since the class of 77 last walked
the halls of TJ. It is absolutely amazing to me how quickly the
years have flown by. After high school, I went to school (Highline,
University of Washington, and City University) and along the way earned
a BA degree in Communications, and a graduate degree in Business.
On a personal note, I was married for nearly 20 years before getting
a divorce at the end of 2004, and I couldn't be happier. As Chicago
once sang "I'm feeling alive again." I have 2 children
(Lisa 20 & Kenny 19), and have been employed at Boeing since
1986 in a number of different business and communication capacities.
I currently live in a townhouse in Auburn, where I've been for the majority
of my life. In terms of hobbies to keep myself busy, I enjoy
going to movies, dancing, bowling, surfing the web, listening to a wide
range of different kinds of music (everything from the Carpenters to
Van Halen), and I also enjoy taking the occasional self improvement
class to learn new things. I've also been active in helping out
as a Special Olympics volunteer, following local sports teams, and cheering
for my alma mater, the University of Washington. I'm passionate
about living and enjoying life to the fullest degree possible, and am
a big believer that we only get to live this life once, so we should
try to truly enjoy and savor each moment. One of the sad things
about life post high school is how easy it is to lose track of the great
people that helped shape our lives. Drop me a line sometime at
UWGary@comcast.net
and let me know what you've been up to.

What's up: Brother of Glenn Simon, class of 80. Married
and divorced in the multiples, but have the one daughter to show for
it all. She lives with me and is beginning to enlighten me on the horrors
I put my own parents through. I'm a Creative Director at an Orange County
(otherwise known as the "OC") advertising agency. I don't
miss the rain, but I do miss the Mountain. I wouldn't mind hearing from
other TJ veterans. I'll definitely make it back for the 30.

Tanay (Asmus), Debbie
email: debbie_tanay@urscorp.com
What's up: Still living in Western Washington. Not
far from the old stomping ground. I have been married to a wonderful
man for nearly 17 years. We have 2 daughters 15 and 14, both going to
school in the Issaquah School District. I've been working for the same
company for 22 years as a System Data Analyst and still enjoying it.
My family also still lives in the area and I am thankful for that, especially
since it was a year of struggle battling breast cancer. But all is well
and we are moving on with renewed enjoyment. Life is good !
Hope to have a great turn out for the 30 year celebration !!!
