What's up: Hey everybody! I hope the last 19 years have been good for everyone. Wow, has it really been that long?

After WSU and working several years in the Puget Sound area I packed up and headed south. Yipeee!  The great state of Alabama is where I now call home. Please feel free to contact me by email of anybody would like to catch up further at kwcopeland@charter.net. Christie Johnson, I tried your email address but it got rejected. Please email if/when you see this.

What's up?: Jackie (Curtis) Putz - working for over 8 years for Boeing (still there) tech aid and administrative, re-married (for  61/2 years now) to a great man, many may know - Brandon. Also, I have 2 children: Shamika - 18 years and starting her first year of college at Highline Community College to start AA in Mechanical Engineering and transfer to UW to finish Masters; and Brittany - 15 years, now a 9th grader – wow time flies. We play outside a lot - jet ski, hike, we all ride dirt bikes, sand rail fun, rollerblading, camping, etc.

Joy (Curtis) Champion - working for the Seattle School District at one of the Elementary schools for over 4 years now, still married (over 18 years) to Todd; and they have 5 children - Kayla - 17 years; Justin - soon to be 16 years; Steven - 13 years; Rachel: 11 years; and Sabrina: 8 years. They love to play outside also - camping, biking, all around sports (baseball, football, soccer), etc.

We both are still very close and see each other weekly!

What's up?:Greetings from Burien! I am a new grandmother of two. I have 5 children, Anna 19, Donnielle 17 (just entered the Marines), Laurrelle 16 (my airforce gal), Geramiah 12 (my state champion in Taekwondo), Emma Rose 5. I homeschool and run my own business. I am currently in training to become a Taekwondo Instructor. I have been married for 13 years - almost 14 to a wonderful Naval Officer -retired. I can be seen in Burien driving my black 71 cougar xr7. Would love to hear from anyone. I would like to start a website for just the class of 85 to participate in without the high costs. Anyone interested?

What's up?: Hello to classmates from '85. Wondering if there are any reunions planned and where people are these days. After UW, I moved to DC. I get homesick for the mountains though, and make it back to the Seattle area to see family a couple of times a year. Here is my email address (at least for the next couple of months): christie.l.johnson@nextel.com. Where the heck is Jill Crook, Patti McNeil, Kathy Baukol, Kevin Copeland, Larry Pfeiffer, Lenny B(how the heck do I spell that?)????? and so many others of you I have wondered about over the years - hope you are well and if you get this send me an email.

What's up?: Although I miss those carefree TJ days, life is nevertheless still quite enjoyable. Let's see...terms of youth... Man, I had to give up my cool leather jacket for a while, but, like, dude, I got one back on again now and am self-proclaimed cool again (only now I actually have it dry-cleaned once in a while, whew). Mid-life crises? I hope not, although I do drive a little sports car.

The basics: I earned a BA in 1991 and a JD in 1995, each from UW, which defined, and continues to define, a large part of my life since 1985. I have lived in Seattle, Houston and now, for the last five years, Washington, DC (and, yes, I give night driving tours if anyone is out this way). Oh, and I spent five months living and working in Jakarta, Indonesia helping with the Asian bank bailout too. I have gone backpacking for six weeks in Mexico, six weeks in the Northern Cascades, and lesser amounts of time in Alaska (had to be rescued in 2000 by the Coast Guard after my boat sank), the Central Cascades (was airlifted out in 2001 due to forest fires), and in the Carolinas. I have no children, but am happily engaged to be married. I still keep in regular contact with a handful you fine folks and would like to reconnect with the rest of you. Overall, life is wonderful.
