Forms and Projects: In the Pacific Rim Web Project, you will demonstrate the most advanced levels of technical and academic proficiency. You will have an opportunity to use three Macromedia products (Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Flash), and your knowledge of HTML language to design and create a web site for one of more than forty countries located along the Pacific Rim (only one student per country).
Project steps to follow:
Create these specific effects from the packet: Review of Site Requirements Dreamweaver: Table or frame layout for a 800 x 600 monitor screen, homepage (index.htm) with no scroll down, form, rollover, drag layer/swap files, images Fireworks: Design 2 effects, navigation buttons, original animated GIF related to country Flash: Select 3 effects from above or from flash sites and incorporate into your project (use of sound and a movie is extra credit) Pacific Rim web pages should include information about culture, education, government, industry and agriculture according to Mr. Gotchy's guidelines.
