Attendance Policy

Poor attendance will affect each grading period and your semester grade. Eight excused absences in this class may result in a loss of credit for the semester (this does not include school related absences). Students will have to go through the petition process in order to receive credit.

Expectations

CD players, cassette players, CDs, or headphones are not allowed in class. If I see these items in class I will take them. First offense, you will get it back at the end of the period. Any other offense after that, you will be required to have a parent or guardian come to school and get the equipment. In order to be successful in this program, the student needs to be an independent and self-motivated learner in a self-directed learning environment with teacher guidance ("student as worker and teacher as facilitator").
