German Club
Students Honored
TJ students, Suzanne and Katie, have been honored
among the top students of German in the nation. Their German
teacher is Ms. Margaret Gotchy.

Katie and Suzanne placed in the top 10% of over 20,000
students who participated in the 2002 competition, sponsored by the
German government, the Langenscheidt Publishing Company, and the
American Association of Teachers of German. Students were tested on
listening comprehension, reading skills, understanding of grammar,
and oral proficiency. They also had to demonstrate their fluency in
telephone interviews.
