Ryan wrapped up the season, onfire! Having PR'd in 3 straight meets, his discus best improved nearly 20' in those three contests and pushed over the 100' mark. Congratulations on a great first year in the program.

Randy "too hard to handle" threw a whopper of a PR in his final meet this season in the discus. Not only did he burst through the 90' barrier, but his PR was in improvement of nearly 15'! Congrats to Randy!

Valerie did it! Facing her final meet in the javelin, she knew she had to throw an 86' mark to have a shot at qualifying for the SPSL championship meet. How did she respond? How about a 6' 10" PR for a final of 89'11"! Jefe was yet another of our discus throwers that were on fire. Building on his career best 100' 6" throw and participating in his first varsity competition, Jeff stood up to the pressure and uncorked a beautiful 107' throw...a 6' 6" PR!

Knowing that the team was counting on Kelsey for points in the shot put and discus, this second year thrower posted PR's and places in both events. Most notably was a truly magnificent 1' 7" PR in the discus with a 92' 5" throw....way to set it straight!   Having the potential to be a killer in the hurdles, Stuey fortunately continued his work in the throwing events and posted an impressive 13' PR in the discus. Remarkably, his 86' 6" throw was not out of his "Stu-frican" throwing style, but a more conventional American style. Thanks for a great season, and we look forward to one more year of Stuey!

Michael wrapped up his senior season with an excellent PR in the discus competition. With his 7' PR, he finishes his career having broken the 100' barrier and now has his sights set on his goals of returning to the SPSL, WCD and hopefully State in the javelin. Good luck, Michael!
