GEAR UP = Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs
GEAR UP is a program designed to prepare students to enter and be successful in college. At GEAR UP we believe that young people who start planning and setting goals for college have a better chance of entering and completing college. As a 7th grader at Totem Middle School students are automatically enrolled in this program. GEAR UP is free of charge and follows students from 7th grade until they graduate from high school in 2017.
