The Totem Crest provides the main focus for Totem. The Thunderbird grabbing on to the torch signifying that we are motivated, fired up and ready to go. The meaning of “Unity Through Learning, we are a learning environment in everything that we do which helps us identify as the Totem Thunderbirds.

Inside the ribbon, the symbols have the following meaning:

  It identifies our comprehensive and outstanding music program

• The Key and Book

  This signifies opening of your mind to the book of knowledge and includes all of the academic courses

• Hands Shaking With Olive Branch

  This emphasizes our feeling of peace and acceptance of our diversity and uniqueness

• Shoe With Wing

  This symbolizes our fantastic athletic program and our success in working together as teams

• Art Brushes and Mask

  This recognizes an excellent performing and expressive arts program
