Online Library Tools
DLC Library – The DLC Library contains educationally relevant search tools for student use.
- netTrekker d.i. – links to educator- evaluated websites. It’s organized by subject (math, science, language arts, etc.). And it links to web pages on study and research skills.
- Grolier Online – houses encyclopedias that you can “check out” of the library, including a Spanish-language encyclopedia.
- SIRS – is a collection of online databases that specialize in social issues, science, history, the arts, and more.
- Facts on File News Service – is a news digest, featuring U.S. and world news from 1940 to the present.
- infoSkills – links to free (and fun) tools that help you take papers and projects from start to finish.
- ProQuest & eLibrary – are non-DLC resources, available to your school through your local ESD. We link to both to give you easy access. These are good places to do research for assignments and papers.
