Students are required to earn 2.0 credits of PE to complete their graduation requirements for Career Academy. We do not offer a PE class so students are allowed to meet this requirement through activities outside of school. Students should maintain a activity log and once they have accumulated 75 hours print out the log, have a parent sign the log, and turn in the log to their CORE teacher. Students will be granted .5 credits for each log containing 75 hours. Another way to meet this requirement is through participating in a varsity sport at any of the local high schools. For each completed sport season, that is confirmed by email from their Federal Way School District coach, a .5 credit will be granted.
When keeping a log please make sure to log the activity with 48 hours of completing the actual activity. Your student log should look something like this:

Please remember to log daily and cnce you have accumulated 75 hours, print it, get a parent signature, and submit to your CORE teacher for a .5 credit. You will need to do this four times if you do not earn PE credits in some other method.
