Rules and Expectations

Respect yourself and others.

• Treat others as you want to be treated
• Keep your hands and feet to yourself
• follow all adult requests or directions
• Show courtesy and use proper manners

Keep yourself and other safe.

• Follow rules for all the different school areas
• Settle conflicts in a non-violent way using Kelso's problem-solving skills
• Always walk inthe building and on walkways around school
• Stay in designated play areas
• Weapons and dagerous objects are not allowed at school

Makes your best effort and ask for help if you need it.

• Attend school every day
• Arrive on time
• Have all materials ready
• Have all homework completed
• Dress appropriately

Have a positive attitude!

• Respect school and personal property
• Use equipment, furniture and materials safely and with care
• Return equipment, furniture and materials to their proper places
• keep the classroom, school grounds, bathrooms and the building clean
• Ask permission to borrow what is not your and return it promptly
• Turn in found items to the office or the lost and found
