Literacy Goal :

Reading & Writing :

ESEA Goal for 2004-05: A minimum of 64.2% of our 4th graders will meet the WASL Reading Standard.

(In 2003, 85.7% of all students met WASL rdg. standard)

Building Goal for 2004-05: All students, grades K-5, will meet the grade level standard (C or above) in reading on the report card in Dec., March, and June. An improvement plan will be written for any child performing below standard. All students will track outside reading, with minimum target of 20 min./day.
